Meet Liz Maloney

National Quality Assurance Manager

Liz brings extensive leadership experience and deep industry knowledge to her role as Produco’s National Quality Assurance Manager. Having previously held senior leadership positions with Fonterra across multiple sites, she has spent her career helping teams navigate change, solve complex challenges, and achieve outstanding outcomes in quality and food safety laboratories.

Working closely alongside clients, Liz supports businesses across a wide range of quality improvement initiatives, compliance projects, and operational challenges. Whether developing new systems, leading improvement programmes, or helping teams work through complex issues, she is passionate about delivering practical solutions that create lasting results.

One of Liz’s greatest strengths is her ability to build strong relationships. Her collaborative approach, combined with a practical understanding of New Zealand’s food regulations, allows her to connect with people at every level of an organisation and guide teams through change with confidence. Drawing on experience that spans the entire food production journey—from farm to formula—she brings a broad perspective and a wealth of real-world knowledge to every project.

Liz is passionate about growing and developing the capability of people across New Zealand’s food industry.
